development objectives of the

The purpose of the review is to

rehabilitation of irrigation
schemes to focus on the quality
of the construction works

DIDM pilot
project in accordance with
national IMT
policy and use of

DIDM
experience into national IMT
policy development. Examination
of the community participatory
approach that is to be used in
all stages of implementation, &
potentially those participatory
mechanisms to employed doing
survey, design, construction &
debugging phases.
- Appropriateness & progress of
the WUA capacity development
process, particularly in regards

financial management & also crop
diversification &
income generation.

viability of IMT policy and
practice on a sustainable basis
taking onto account ISF, CIDF

Voice Collection Project, which

as to ensure
their survival.

for each province in the Lao PDR,

areas to conduct Water Voice
Collection;
- Propose
the select villages to the JICA
advisor and the project

Air transportation plays an
important role in socio-economic
development as it provides a
safe
and efficient means of transportation, which encourages
economic activities and
therefore
economic growth. The study on the integrated Regional
Development Plan for the
provinces of
Savannakhet and Khammouane in the Lao PDR and the study
on the Integrated Regional
Development Plan for the North-eastern Border Region in
the Kingdom of Thailand (known
as the
PLANET Master plan) have indicated that there is the
potential for the joint
utilization of
Savannakhet airport by both Savannakhet province in the
Lao PDR and Mukdahan province in
Thailand.
